OneKey™ MLS: NYC Real Estate Changes?

OneKey™ MLS is a newly rebranded MLS that is a result of a merger between the Long Island Board of Realtors (Or MLS of Long Island) and Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors (HGAR). This brings a lot more firepower to New York Realtors that are a part of either associations bringing the total amount of Realtors to 44,000 in one organization in New York State.

There were always rumors of a possible HGAR merger with REBNY or some other organization, but there was no other legitimate source for it other than broker speakeasy. However, few months after that rumor, I later find that this was in fact real and that LIBOR had won out on negotiations to broker a deal to merge alongside HGAR. This is huge for New York Real Estate.

As a result of this merger, there is a lot more coverage. This allows Realtors like me to have the ability to provide better services for buyers or sellers in more locations. As a result of this merger, OneKey™ MLS members have exposure to the major boroughs of Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens; and the following counties: Sullivan, Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, Orange, Nassau and Suffolk.

What this means for you: Whether you are buying or selling, as your Real Estate Agent who is part of this vast network, I will find more exposure for your listings, get better deals, or provide better assurance of premier marketability.

What this also means is that OneKey MLS members will have more access to REBNY brokers as many of them are a part of HGAR (to retain Realtor designation). This means that there will be far more reach than designed. New York City real estate is changing as we know it. Despite some negative news such as Coronavirus hysteria, or Rental laws changing for the worse, this shows that competition for invaluable NYC Real Estate is still alive and well.

As a Realtor part of LIBOR (soon to be OneKey™MLS), and also a member of New York State MLS, I will have access to thousands of listings in the boroughs that will bring you value and prosperity: Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, and Long Island. As an older Millennial, I will be able to spot the best luxury condos for aspiring physicians, legal professionals, and financial networkers.

Contact me to schedule a lunch so that I can learn more about your needs and how I can make them happen for you.
